Bookouture published her first novel, THE GIRLS IN THE WATER, a multi-stranded, and rewarding crime debut in eBook.

Set in urban South Wales, THE GIRLS IN THE WATER introduces DI Alex King and her young protégé, DC Chloe Lane. When the tortured body of an anorexic twenty-year-old is found in a river running through a local park, both women are determined to find who put her there. Lola Evans, it emerges, was part of a support group that met regularly in a local village hall. When another troubled young woman, also a member of the group, goes missing, police face a race against time to try to save the next victim. Meanwhile, the pain-shrouded past of another young woman – DC Chloe Lane – is about to catch up with her.

The second Detectives King and Lane novel, THE FIRST ONE TO DIE, will be published by Bookouture in eBook in November 2017.

  • "A wonderfully gripping story that makes me excited for book 2!" Breakfast at Shelby's
  • "Excitement on every page... I felt the chills run down my arms. Yes, this is fiction but the reality of the characters both dead and alive were so believable. I highly recommend The Girls in the Water to readers worldwide" Urban Book Reviews
